Prof. Dr. Rudi Studer was born in 1951 in Stuttgart. He is a German computer scientist at the Institute for Applied Computer Science and Formal Systems (AIFB) at KIT, Karlsruhe. He is former president of the Semantic Web Science Association. He obtained a PhD in Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart in 1982.
