Prof. Dr. Rudi Studer was born in 1951 in Stuttgart. He is German computer scientist at the Institute for Applied Computer Science and Formal Systems (AIFB) at KIT, Karlsruhe. He is former president of the Semantic Web Science Association. He obtained a PhD (1982) in Computer Science at the University of Stuttgart.
