Please be advised that this is not a regular Lotico New York Semantic Web event. In an attempt to introduce the Semantic Web community to the marketing side of the business we (Lotico New York Semantic Web / New York Social Media group) will organize this special event.
DEMO:
Co-Founder and CEO [[Jeff Fernandez]] will be presenting an online training platform that helps people use the Internet by producing engaging video courses on the most relevant websites for businesses, called Grovo (www.grovo.com (http://www.grovo.com/)).
[[Nick Narodny]], Cofounder and Chief Content Officer will demo how to create a custom Facebook Tab without coding in FBML and show how to track the success and popularity of specific blog authors or content subjects with Google Analytics.

Mr. Brekke is the Emerging Media Strategist for DefinedLogic, an NJ-based enterprise web tech consultancy. At DefinedLogic he also heads up product development for Open Audience Manager, a Software-as-a-Service platform designed to help marketers fully leverage Facebook’s Open Graph. He has over a decade of experience with interactive strategy, production and product development from Fortune 500s to start-ups. He is also engaged in the NYC interactive community and is the organizer of the New York OpenCoffee Club - a technology and media innovator network with over 700 members. Before joining DefinedLogic he founded Social Intent LLC, a Mobile and Social Media technology consultancy serving brands such as Coca-Cola, Random House, Estee Lauder & Equifax. Previously he’s been a VP of Marketing for JPMorgan Chase, Account Planner for Ogilvy, and VP of Marketing for Linkstorm. Mr. Brekke graduated Sergeant from the Norwegian Naval Academy, has a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Bergen, Norway and earned his M.A. in Communications from SUNY Albany.
