KAON2 was an infrastructure for managing OWL-DL, SWRL, and F-Logic ontologies. KAON2 was the successor to [[KAON]]. The supported ontology language in KAON2 was based on OWL-DL and F-Logic instead of the proprietary RDFS extension in [[KAON]]. Initially the effort was produced by the Knowledge Management Group (WIM) at the Research Center for Information technologies (FZI) and Institute of Applied Informatics and Formal Description Methods (AIFB) at the University of Karlsruhe.
